hiep tran, O.D.
Dr. Hiep Tran was born and raised in Vietnam; after frequent relocations throughout her childhood, she is ready to settle and carve out a piece of home in the Bay Area. She discovered her love for optometry through volunteering with low vision patients as a student at U.C. San Diego. To continue that passion, Dr. Tran earned her Doctorate of Optometry from U.C. Berkeley. Her training was heavily biased toward medical optometry with extensive experiences at multiple Veterans Affairs hospitals at Casa Grande, Vancouver, and San Jose. She practices full scope optometry including comprehensive exams, contact lens, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
In her free time, Dr. Tran prefers stationary activities that include listening
to podcasts, knitting, sitting, and considers herself happily mediocre at
all of them.
